IT Help Desk Assistant

Location: Scottsbluff Office (CANNOT BE PERFORMED REMOTELY)

Reports to: Network Admin (directly) / CIO

Summary: Perform a vast range of jobs in all areas of IT including internet, telephony, and other projects and duties as assigned.

 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Repair, analyze, configure, & install software, operating systems, & hardware

  • Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting to system users.

  • Maintain inventory and licensing control of all computer equipment and other required information.

  • Create, manage, and disable users in Active Directory, Outlook, and various other applications, including our core business Artiva RM system.

  • Change door codes for external entry.

  • Track inventory of computers, parts, and licensing.

  • Document processes per PPMS standards.

  • Assist with Cat 5 cabling and networking.

  • Manage namespace copy procedure.

  • Run development namespace data imports.

  • Assist with phone equipment installation and programming.

  • Assist with coding task on an occasional basis.

 

Compliance Responsibilities: Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and standards affecting the medical and collection industry, such as FDPCA, TCPA, FCRA, SOC II, HIPAA and any other state / federal laws or regulations and internal policies and procedures. Ensure security and access to all protected health information conforms to all of the above. Notify management of any existing or potential nonconformance or noncompliance.

 

Education/Experience: Experience and education will be an asset, but will not always override willingness, potential, and character.
